DOWGATE CAPITAL APPOINTS GPP WEALTH SOLUTIONS
Dowgate Capital, the corporate broking and wealth management business, has appointed GPP, the wealth solutions, custody and clearing provider, to provide fund administration and back office support services.
Dowgate Capital selected GPP’s technology platform to administer the boutique’s investment assets and provide an outsourcing solution to enable it to scale its business through its next phase of growth. The appointment provides the architecture to support Dowgate’s strategic expansion of its discretionary investment management business, which has been bolstered substantially by the appointment of several experienced investment managers over the past 12 months.
GPP’s Wealth Solutions business is now approaching £2.5bn in assets under administration in three years since its launch. The platform is on course for strong growth in the remainder of 2020 as wealth managers, discretionary investment managers and IFAs respond to its efficient outsourcing solution, which provides flexibility to adapt and thrive in difficult market conditions.
GPP launched its wealth platform in 2017 as a streamlined offering combining cutting edge digital technology and the established strengths of GPP’s global execution services and proprietary back office. Operating as a single, integrated platform for the full investment lifecycle, it provides GPP’s clients with a comprehensive yet nimble white-labelled solution which can be easily modified for a bespoke service.
